Many citizens, especially in our society, misjudge Hip-hop as a negative influence; however, this is not true. Hip-hop may cause negative effects on our society but it also generates positivity in the lives of many people,mostly our youth; therefore, our society does not know or acknowledge what Hip-hop is. To be able to understand it people must first understand how it came to be. This is why people should reconsider the impact Hip-hop has brought on to our society.
